Changing Lives One at a Time!  Be a Proverbs 11:30 Servant!

God Still Moves in Guanacaste, Costa Rica

The year 2014 has brought with it new relationships, renewed friendships and has impacted hundreds of people with God’s message of love and hope. As some of you know, the construction of the ministry center, now known as the Hardy House, was on hold for four years awaiting a roof. In March, the funds were given and a team led by Ernie Simmons, Marvin Herrera and several Costa Rican workers constructed a beautiful new roof for the House. The need for a central meeting place for the area churches is great. The corral has served as a gathering place for activities such as youth overnight camping events, church hosted all night sings, two weddings, several birthday parties, hosting short term mission teams as the dining and study area just to name a few. At the present this is what the ranch has to offer, HOWEVER, God has much more in store for this ministry! With the anticipated completion of the Hardy House, we will be limitless to provide powerful outreach capabilities.

The new church sanctuary located in Las Pavas, Upala led by Pastor Norvin Lopez, is 90% completed thanks to the generous giving and diligent workers of this congregation. THANK YOU for your generosity.

Only two short term mission teams served this year, in March & late June. The gospel was proclaimed and several people accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Savior because of the evangelism outreach that these teams provided. Food bags which  contained rice, beans, salt, sugar, coffee, canned tuna, cooking oil, powdered milk , & pasta noodles was delivered to those families that had been identified by the church pastors. The team offered physical food & spiritual nourishment. Loving on children is always a highlight as we spent an afternoon with the local children playing games, making crafts, singing and teaching a Bible story. Attending a worship service at one of our partnering churches was a thrilling experience as we shared in a time of praise & worship together.

PLEASE pray and seek God about serving on a short term mission team in 2015. The Word exhorts us to go into the ends of the earth preaching & teaching the Good News of Jesus Christ. It is our responsibility to share His love and truth with a dying world.

The pastors and the lay leaders in the area are yearning for more training in leadership, youth & children’s programs, Bible study, marriage and family and prayer. Is God calling you to serve, pray and give to help build and lift up the pastors and their church leaders?
